One of our goals has always been to bring the beauty and grandeur of Payahüünadü to audiences who can’t visit in person. This 360 video, which we created for a VR headset experience, is one of the ways that viewers can travel to Payahüünadü. Explore this video to have a simulated 360 experience.

The immersive visual sound bath combined projected landscapes of the Valley with live musical performances by Alex Miranda (October 2023) and Susie Kozawa (May 2024).

Japanese American sound artist Susie Kozawa used found objects to make sounds that accompany images from Payahüünadü on May 3, 2024 at the Democracy Center at the Japanese American National Museum as part of the Manzanar to Tule Lake program of the 2024 LA Asian Pacific Film Festival.
